Happy new year everyone! I can't believe it is already 2019! 2018 flew by and it was a year of ups an downs, but I enjoyed it. I started my blog and found an awesome group of people to talk to on twitter. I hope 2019 is as good to me as 2018 was. I am kicking 2019 off with a bang by hosting my first blogathon and the subject is a favorite of mine, Carole Landis. Carole would have turned 100 today and I thought that she should have a birthday blogathon. I discovered Carole ten years ago when I watched Moon Over Miami (in parts) on YouTube. I had seen all the other actors in other films, but this was my first time seeing Carole and I was mesmerized. Carole is not as well known today as she was back in the forties and I hope through this blogathon people get to know here and love her or they get to see films of hers they have never seen before. I want to thank everyone who signed up! I can't wait to see your posts about Carole. Comment below or on the announcement post with links to your posts and I will share them here. Here is to 100 years of Carole Landis.
